THE CURSE OF SIN

So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this,

“Cursed are you above all livestock

and all wild animals!

You will crawl on your belly

and you will eat dust

all the days of your life.

And I will put enmity

between you and the woman,

and between your offspring and hers;

he will crush your head,

and you will strike his heel.”

To the woman he said,

“I will make your pains in childbearing very severe;

with painful labor you will give birth to children.

Your desire will be for your husband,

and he will rule over you.”

To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’

“Cursed is the ground because of you;

through painful toil you will eat food from it

all the days of your life.

It will produce thorns and thistles for you,

and you will eat the plants of the field.

By the sweat of your brow

you will eat your food

until you return to the ground,

since from it you were taken;

for dust you are

and to dust you will return.”

Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.

These curses will exist always throughout life and time in this world and the next; here and hereafter. Only in Jannah (Paradise) are all desires fulfilled. Only in Nirvana or Dreamtime ie. Awake in a dream - are spirit and flesh consolidated and all is one.

THE SUCCESSOR AND THE TEMPTER

Qur'an [38:71-85]

Your Lord said to the angels, ‘I will create a man from clay. When I have shaped him and breathed from My Spirit into him, bow down before him.’ The angels all bowed down together, but not Iblis, who was too proud. He became a rebel. God said, ‘Iblis, what prevents you from bowing down to the man I have made with My own hands? Are you too high and mighty?’ Iblis said, ‘I am better than him: You made me from fire, and him from clay.’ ‘Get out of here! You are rejected: My rejection will follow you till the Day of Judgement!’ but Iblis said, ‘My Lord, grant me respite until the Day when they are raised from the dead,’ so He said, ‘You have respite till the Appointed Day.’ Iblis said, ‘I swear by Your might! I will tempt all but Your true servants.’ God said, ‘This is the truth – I speak only the truth – I will fill Hell with you and all those that follow you.’

Qur'an [2:30-39]

[Prophet], when your Lord told the angels, ‘I am putting a successor on earth,’ they said, ‘How can You put someone there who will cause damage and bloodshed, when we celebrate Your praise and proclaim Your holiness?’ but He said, ‘I know things you do not.’

He taught Adam all the names [of things], then He showed them to the angels and said, ‘Tell me the names of these if you truly [think

you can].’ They said, ‘May You be glorified! We have knowledge

only of what You have taught us. You are the All Knowing and All

Wise.’ Then He said, ‘Adam, tell them the names of these.’ When

he told them their names, God said, ‘Did I not tell you that I know

what is hidden in the heavens and the earth, and that I know what

you reveal and what you conceal?’

When We told the angels, ‘Bow down before Adam,’ they all

bowed. But not Iblis, who refused and was arrogant: he was one of

the disobedient. We said, ‘Adam, live with your wife in this garden.

Both of you eat freely there as you will, but do not go near this tree,

or you will both become wrongdoers.’ But Satan made them slip,

and removed them from the state they were in. We said, ‘Get out, all of you! You are each other’s enemy. On earth you will have a place to stay and livelihood for a time.’ Then Adam received some words from his Lord and He accepted his repentance: He is the Ever Relenting, the Most Merciful. We said, ‘Get out, all of you! But when guidance comes from Me, as it certainly will, there will be no fear for those who follow My guidance nor will they grieve– those who disbelieve and deny Our messages shall be the inhabitants of the Fire, and there they will remain.’

The Qur'an states that there is no equal to God, to God none can compare. Although, God did create a successor Adam, whom He taught the names of all things. This Iblis is the same one who tempted Adam. In Islamic tradition, Iblis is usually seen as the original name of Azazel, before he was expelled from heaven. In the books of Enoch, Azazel along with Semjaza was leader of the watchers (grigori in Greek) whom descended on the earth seducing the sons of the angels, in corruption with the daughters of men and leading astray the off-spring of men bringing about nephilim (giants).

The curse on mankind because of Adam’s sin and God’s provision for a Savior from sin who would take the curse upon Himself.

THE MESSIAH AND REDEMPTION

SHALL BOW DOWN BEFORE THEE . They only, but not other peoples, who will only bow down at the time of the Messiah. But here the expression only indicates Israel, all of whom would bow down to the Exilarch in Babylon, but not other peoples. JUDAH lS A LlON'S WHELP : first he will be a whelp, and then a lion, corresponding to the transition from “lad” [tr.note: i.e. Metatron.] to “man”, as it is written: “The Lord is a man of war” (Ex. xv, 3). FROM THE PREY, MY SON, THOU ART GONE UP The word “prey” includes the angel of death, who preys upon mankind. From that prey the Shekinah shook itself free. It “stooped down” in the captivity of Babylon, it “couched” in the captivity of Edom, “as a lion” which is strong and as a “lioness” which is stronger. So Israel are strong, because though the Gentiles entice and oppress them, they adhere to their laws and their customs like a lion and a lioness. So, too, the Shekinah, which, although it is fallen, remains strong like a lion and a lioness. For just as these crouch only to spring upon their prey, which they smell from afar, so the Shekinah only crouches to take vengeance on idolaters and to spring upon them. WHO SHALL ROUSE HIM UP . He will not rise to take any petty vengeance. The word “who” (Mi) here indicates the supernal world, which has dominion over all; it is similarly used in the verse “From the womb of whom (Mi) came the ice” (Job XXXVIII, 29), as we have explained. THE SCEPTRE SHALL NOT DEPART FROM JUDAH,.......

First a "lad" then a "man of war", unto Kingship. A lion's whelp then a lion; from death's prey to strike vengeance. Giving Thanks for the bread, a plenty; fruit of the vine hath no hold.

THE SOUL OF MESSIAH

“The soul of Mashiach preceded the world. It is the root of the souls of Israel, and the entire Creation, for “The entire universe was only created to attend him” (Berakhot 6b) and “The Tzaddik is the foundation of the world” (Proverbs 10:25). 2. The Holy One, blessed-be-He, took counsel with this soul in the creation of His Universe, as it is written: “With whom did He take counsel, who gave Him understanding and guided Him in the way of judgment?” (Isaiah 40:14). He gave God a guarantee that he will repair the Universe.”
