THREE FUNDAMENTAL FORMS AND PERSPECTIVE

Modern physics recognizes three types of energy that govern the universe: the strong force binding atomic nuclei; the weak force associated with radioactive decay; gravity, an inherent attraction among matter particles; and a forth in electromagnetism, a force derived from charged particles' presence, motion, and attraction.

This last category is an excellent example for the understanding of the spiritual circuitry of all creation. However, before discovering electromagnetism (during the eighteenth century), many years ago ancient Kabbalist's held that the universe was permeated by spiritual forces among three terminals or columns. These can be represented by positive, negative and earth in a power socket. As expressed in comparison with the ten sefirot and the columns in the tree of life, we have: a desire to give or share, a desire to receive and a desire to receive for the purpose of sharing.

The Dead Sea Scrolls describe three kinds of righteousness in the Damascus Document corresponding to the three nets of Belial as mentioned by the book of Isaiah,

|*1 To raise their offerings according to their interpretation, |*2 to love every one his neighbor as himself, and |*3 to strengthen the hand of the poor and the needy and the stranger, and to seek every one the peace.

"Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth."

- Isaiah 24:17.

The first is |*1 fornication, the second is |*2 wealth, the third is the |*3 pollution of the sanctuary."

In Islamic scripture these are cross referenced in the Qur'an as: pay alms-tax, do good, establish prayer (and to believe).

"Indeed those who believe, do good, establish prayer, and pay alms-tax will receive their reward from their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve."

Buddhism explains the existence of three universal truths; the truth of suffering, the truth of the end of suffering and the truth of the path that leads to the end of suffering. Put simply, suffering exists it has a cause and it has an end. Likewise the Tripitaka explains the existence of three vehicles involved in the Buddhist Dharma or teaching.

The Hindu upanishad entitled 'Brihadaranyaka - What the Thunder Said' The Creator teaches to three kinds of life, that the heavenly voice of thunder repeats "Da-da-da!" in association with "Be self-controlled! Give! Be compassionate!". The Hindu religion also notes three 'Gunas' in Sanskrit meaning "quality, peculiarity, attribute, or tendency: Sattva involving transcendence, Rajas involving activity and Tamas involving inertia.

The Three Golden Rules which Sikhs follow are to remember God constantly (Naam Japna), to earn an honest livelihood (Kirt Karni), and to share their earnings with everyone through charity (Vand Shakna).

Geometrically, three fundamental shapes exist: squares, representing form and solidity; triangles, symbolizing energy generation and initiative; and circles, embodying unification, serenity, and perfection.

The diagram below demonstrates how perspective can profoundly impact perception, as all three shapes converge together. Considering diverse cultural backgrounds, perspectives can vary significantly but there is one truth.
